I am an applied mathematician with a broad range of research interests. Much of my past research has been in mathematical ecology, but I enjoy finding creative solutions to problems in fields ranging from physics to economics.

I obtained my Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska, under the supervision of Dr. J. David Logan and Dr. Chad Brassil. I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Karen Abbott’s lab at Case Western University. I was an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the California State University, Chico and at Nevada State College. I briefly worked as a Senior Technical Analyst at CenturyLink.

Feel free to reach out to me for questions about mathematical modeling, quantitative biology, and Mathematica programming. I am happy to review academic papers and mentor students.
